Dr. Sayers practiced Family Medicine at Primary Care Partners in Grand Junction, CO from 1998 until her retirement in 2025. After treating patients with heart disease, diabetes and obesity, she has seen more success in the patients who changed their lifestyle compared to standard care. A personal experience made Susan even more passionate about food and its impact on health. Susan’s mom, who was active and followed general nutritional guidelines, still had a massive heart attack and nearly died at the age of 69. This led her to question the nutritional paradigm promoted by modern medicine. Now set on a path to prevent disease and enhance well-being, she advocates the benefits of a low fat, whole food-plant based diet. As a licensed Food for Life instructor, she welcomes you to join her classes and regain your health!
